Man: Hello listeners! Today we’re talking about the worst holiday ever. Here is our first caller.
Woman: Good afternoon! I’m Lucy. I bought a coach tour of Norway two months ago. Of course, I had enough time to think about what to take with me, but instead of careful planning, I began packing my suitcase just before leaving. I had no idea what clothes I should take with me, so I decided to check the weather forecast. I turned on the TV and found out it was going to be quite cold and rainy most of the time, so I quickly packed a few warm sweaters, two raincoats, three pairs of boots and my umbrella.
Imagine how surprised I was when it turned out that the whole week in Norway was very warm and it didn’t rain at all. I was really angry as I had the heaviest suitcase of all the tourists. What’s worse, I couldn’t leave my warm clothes in the hotel because we didn’t stay in one place. So every morning I had to carry it from the hotel to the coach and in the evening from the coach to another hotel. It was very tiring but at least the attractions we saw were amazing. My holiday was far from perfect, but it was partly my fault.

Boy: In the future I would like to build a successful career in sport. I could be a football player for example. I think it’s a great profession. I dream of playing in the best football teams. Girl: My father has his own computer company. He employs a few workers and he would like me to run the business one day. But working in one place is definitely not for me. I rather see myself as a journalist. I’d like to visit interesting places all over the world and tell other people about them.

People can create works of art from almost everything, ranging from snow to bottles. So it’s not surprising that a New York-based photographer and illustrator, Sarah Rosado, has made portraits of artists with something even more unusual.

One day Sarah was having breakfast and listening to music. Suddenly, as she was enjoying a bowl of cereal, she had a brilliant idea. She thought it might be possible to make portraits of famous musicians such as John Lennon, Bob Marley or Michael Jackson using cornflakes.

Working on cereal portraits is not easy. Sarah starts by sketching the image of the artist. Then, she crushes the cereal to the right size so that it can be carefully placed on the outline. WHY DO ZEBRAS HAVE STRIPES?
Every child knows what zebras look like. Their 6.1.BODIES are covered with black and white stripes. No two zebras have got 6.2.EXACTLY the same pattern of stripes. But why do they need these stripes at all? Last year an American biologist 6.3. FOUND an answer to this question. She studied flies and other insects that bite animals. She discovered that flies attack brown animals more often than animals with black and white stripes. Flies are very 6.4. IRRITATING to zebras and can carry many dangerous diseases.
